In the 1-2 episodes of 'Moving', which MBC presented for the first time on TV on the 22nd, the story of parents and children living with superpowers was unfolded.
According to viewer rating research company Nielsen Korea on the 23rd, the previous day's viewer rating of 'Moving' marked a fresh start, recording 5.1% of households in the metropolitan area. 2049 viewership, a key indicator of channel competitiveness and a key indicator of advertising officials, reached 2.3%. In particular, in the scene where class president Lee Kang-hoon returned home after hearing the secrets of the transfer student and greeted his father Jae-man (Kim Sung-kyun), it soared to a maximum viewership of 6.4%, proving the viewers' keen interest.
On the show, Kim Bong-seok (Lee Jung-ha), Jang Hee-soo (Go Yoon-jung), and Lee Kang-hoon (Kim Do-hoon), who appear to be ordinary high school seniors, met as classmates like Jeongwon High School, drawing attention to their future stories. Choi Il-hwan (played by Kim Hee-won), a homeroom teacher, raised tensions by keeping a close eye on their abilities.
On the other hand, secrets hidden behind the ordinary daily lives of Lee Mi-hyun (Han Hyo-joo), the owner of a pork cutlet restaurant who raises her son Bong-seok alone, and Jang Joo-won (Ryu Seung-ryong), the owner of a chicken restaurant who takes care of his daughter Hee-soo, have begun to emerge. On top of that, the appearance of Frank (Ryu Seung-beom), who tracks retired superpowers, added to the tension of the play. As he was judged as a viewer over the age of 19, the live action scenes of the superpowers gave him a sense of excitement that he could not take his eyes off for a moment.
In Moving Episode 3-5, which continues on the 23rd, the strange tension between Kim Bong-seok and Lee Kang-hoon over Jang Hee-soo, a transfer student, and the hidden story of the three will be unveiled.
Based on Kang Pul's webtoon of the same name, 'Moving' is a work that drew enthusiastic responses around the world, achieving the highest viewing record among domestic original series when Disney+ was released. As the TV series meets more viewers this time, it is attracting attention as the first case of collaboration between global OTT and domestic terrestrial broadcasting.
MBC's 'Moving' will air eight episodes consecutively at 10 p.m. every day until the 24th, and will be fixedly organized twice a week on Sunday nights starting in January.
