Director Barry Jenkins told how he directed the movie 'Mupasa: The Lion King'.

Director Barry Jenkins said in a video press conference for `Mufasa: The Lion King' on the 19th that `This movie is a hybrid of animation and live action' and `It was a new challenge for me as well.'

Director Barry Jenkins explained why he directed 'Mufasa: The Lion King'. He said "The characters are all animals, and the scale of production has grown."Mupasa: The Lion King" was not much different from the topics I've been dealing with so far. I was given a bigger canvas and accepted it as an opportunity for the audience to fully realize their dreams with a theme they loved," he said.

I would then like to say that "Mufasa: The Lion King" is a hybrid of animation and live action"It was a new challenge for me, but this work would have been a new challenge for any director in the sense of using cutting-edge technology and introducing new methods. I started with an open mind from the first time I said I was going to start this project."

Released on the 18th, 'Mupasa: The Lion King' is the 30th anniversary of the birth of the original Disney animation 'The Lion King' and the prequel of 'The Lion King'. The story of Mufasa, a young lion orphaned in the wild, who goes beyond his given destiny to become the king of the world after meeting the king's descendant and his expected successor, Taka (Scar), is directed by Barry Jenkins, who won the Best Picture award at the 89th Academy Awards for the film Moonlight.
