Environmental problems for future generations, let's solve them digitally...'Wake up EBS Classroom' aired on the 31st

EBS1 'Educational Planning - Class Up! Wake Up the Classroom' features Han Jung-min's story of solving the most important environmental problems for future generations with digital technology.

We will look at Han Jung-min's story of solving environmental problems with digital technology in 'Education University Planning - Class Up! Wake Up Classrooms', which will air at 6:30 p.m. on the 31st.

▶Resources from nature go back to nature!

Elementary Science Time with Dissecting, Observing, Exploring, and Interesting Experimental Activities! We closely observe the booreokjam that can be seen around us and look at the properties of floating in the water.

Children use digital to share experimental results and write reports. In Han Jung-min's class, the Bureokjam, which has been tested, is not just thrown away. As important as the observation process is to return it to nature. It is not a one-time use, but Han Jung-min's teaching method to educate the cycle of nature. Children, who have come to realize that plants are also a life, continue to observe the pond where the blue-oak dragonfly lives.

▶What is the ecological environment where I live?

There are various plants in the space where I live, in the village where I live. However, they often live without knowing the type or name. Han Jung-min says she wants to emphasize to children what they know about nature around us as they live in nature.

Children make their own ecological maps by walking around the plants on campus and even the surrounding parks. It introduces digitally created ecological maps to young juniors, shares them with community sites, and grows as new members of society.

▶No disposable items! 100% Reuse Planting

After school, Han Jung-min walks around the school alone pulling a cart. It's for a regular treasure hunt time. However, the cart is full of discarded plants and empty plastic bins that cannot be used.

The teacher reuses the collected things to organize a new class. The teacher's ideas and the students' hands gather to complete a wonderful plant box.

Teachers and children use eco-friendly paper pots along with plant boxes to cut various vegetables. A few months later, various hands-on activities will follow, such as harvesting vegetables grown by oneself, making salads, and even making kimchi.

From seeds to grown crops, they naturally learn nature and the environment by experiencing 'a year of plants'.
