Ahead of its first broadcast on the 23rd, 'Namib' tells the story of fired star producer Kang Soo-hyun (played by Ko Hyun-jung) and released long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo (Rareun) growing up cooperating for their goals.
Kang Soo-hyun is the CEO of an agency that once boasted an outstanding eye and production ability to discover and succeed stars. Pandora Entertainment, founded with her husband and music producer Shim Joon-seok (Yoon Sang-hyun), hit the jackpot for each idol group, but the sudden dismissal led to the collapse.
The fall of Kang Soo-hyun, who was in charge of the family's livelihood, brings a big change to the family and dreams of finding new stars and making a comeback to overcome it. Meanwhile, Kang Soo-hyun, who discovered Yoo Jin-woo, a trainee released from Pandora Entertainment, recognizes his potential and starts making stars once again.
Shim Jun-seok will also join Yoo Jin-woo's star-making project to showcase the best teamwork that combines Kang Soo-hyun and Shim Jun-seok's outstanding production skills. The two give full support to Yoo Jin-woo, including singing, dancing, and stage manners, so that he can win the audition program.
The still cut released shows Kang Soo-hyun and Shim Jun-seok looking at Yoo Jin-woo's song with serious eyes, and it is expected that they will be able to transform them from gemstones through Yoo Jin-woo into shining jewels.
Genie TV's original drama 'Namib' will premiere on ENA at 10 p.m. on the 23rd, and streaming services will be provided free of charge through KT Genie TV and Genie TV Mobile immediately after the main broadcast.
