MBC originally planned to broadcast 'Acting Grand Prize' live at 8:40 p.m. on the same day, but eventually decided to cancel it due to the Muan Jeju Air disaster. MBC 'Broadcasting Entertainment Awards', which was previously scheduled for the 29th, was also canceled.
