On the 29th, the 'Park Myung-soo's Radio Show' said on its official account that the schedule for Park Geun-hyung and Lee Sang-yoon's invitation scheduled for the 30th has been postponed. Park Geun-hyung and Lee Sang-yoon were scheduled to appear on Park Myung-soo's radio show to promote the play 「The Death of a Salesman」, but adjusted the schedule in consideration of the seriousness of the situation.
Earlier in the day, an aircraft from Bangkok left the runway while landing at Muan International Airport in Fiji, Mangun-myeon, Muan-gun, Jeollanam-do. The plane was Jeju Air Flight 7C2216, which was scheduled to depart Bangkok and arrive at Muan International Airport at 8:30 a.m. that day. There are a total of 181 passengers, 175 passengers and six crew members. According to the fire authorities, 179 people were killed and two injured.
In connection with the disaster, the government designated seven days until January 4 next year as the national mourning period.
