Producer Park Jin-kyung and producer Moon Sang-don, who directed 'Zombibus: New Blood' at somewhere in Jongno-gu, Seoul, met with Sports Chosun on the morning of the 2nd and told them everything about the program.
Netflix entertainment 'Zombiverse' is an addictive zombie action variety that extends laughter and thrill indefinitely to zombies with denser composition, huge scale, and ability to evolve amid the expansion of zombie worldview. It is a program that gives you a glimpse of the colorful character play and synergy of 14 people, including Cho Se-ho, Defconn, Taeyeon, Yook Sung-jae, Code Kunst, Kwon Eun-bi, Kim Sun-tae, Andre Rush, Lee Si-young, Dindin, Dex, Tsuki, Patricia, and Roh Hong-chul, who returned from death.
'Zombieverse2' is back with a 'Total Zombie Action Package' that encompasses laughter, thrill, action and narrative. In season 1, Noh Hong-chul, who thought he was bitten by a zombie, appeared as a rare constitution, giving a twist, and this season, the expanded stage from Jeju Island to Seoul and the evolved zombie world view were well received by viewers.
Producer Park Jin-kyung said, "I don't know what genre it is in season 1."There was a lot of feedback about ', but this season, the combination of entertainment and survival was naturally accepted"I'm most satisfied that it was clearly communicated to domestic viewers."
Producer Moon Sang-don also said, `I hope Noh Hong-chul's unique character of betrayal is considered unfavorable in season 1, but I hope it will be more powerful as a villain in this seasonThere were many responses that '"Viewers' understanding of the genre has increased," he said.
In addition to season 1 members such as Noh Hong-chul, Lee Si-young and Dex, new faces such as Tae-yeon, Jo Se-ho, Code Kunst, Yook Sung-jae and Kwon Eun-bi joined this season.
Producer Park said "In the variety genre, intimacy of the cast is important. This season was composed of performers with a lot of entertainment experience, and they showed natural chemistry from the beginning of filming" he said. In particular, Kwon Eun-bi acted as a new character against zombies, and Yook Sung-jae made a big impression by showing courage, contrary to the preconceived notion that he is scared. Dex's chemistry with Yook Sung-jae was much better than expectedProducer Moon also praised the performance of the two.
Meanwhile, Noh Hong-chul and Shin Hyun-jun provided a different kind of fun with the rare character 'zombanin' (zombie + general public). Noh Hong-chul's character was reevaluated positively with a genre understanding, and Shin Hyun-jun was loved by viewers for his unique presence.
The production team then mentioned the possibility of producing season 3.

Producer Moon said, "There are some rice cakes left at the end of Season 2." "I want to show more original fun centered on Korean elements."," he added.
This season drew positive responses from overseas as well. However, the production team said it wants to maintain its direction targeting Korean viewers until the end, considering the cultural differences unique to the comedy genre.
Producer Moon said, `I believe that if we strengthen our color, as we say, `The most Korean thing is global,' we will continue to receive good responses from overseas as well.'
