Actor Seol-hyun is receiving favorable reviews by showing more mature acting skills through the Disney+ original series 'Light Shop'. Lee Ji-young's role in the work was not an easy challenge, but Seol-hyun strengthened her position as an actor by making viewers cry with her own in-depth expressions.

On the morning of the 19th, at a place in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, Kim Seol-hyun met with Sports Chosun and responded to an interview to commemorate the opening of 'Light Shop'.

Disney+'s original series 'Light Shop' (directed by Kim Hee-won/original & scripted by Kang Pul/produced by Mr. Romance/Co-produced by Moving Pictures) is the only place that lights up the end of a dark alley. The story takes place when customers with suspicious secrets come to a lighting shop.

In the first to fourth episodes, it overwhelmed the audience in a tense atmosphere with a mysterious horror genre, and in the fifth to eighth episodes released last week, it added dramatic fun with a narrative that caused a reversal, giving them a high sense of immersion and emotion.

In the play, Kim Seol-hyun plays Lee Ji-young, a suspicious guest who made an extreme choice believing that she lost her lover Kim Hyun-min (Um Tae-gu). Ji-young is a trauma character who sits on a bench in memory and waits for her lover with a setting where she can't speak. Seol-hyun received favorable reviews by stimulating viewers' tears with only her eyes and delicate expressions in the scene where Ji-young speaks her lover's name for the first time after hard work.

Recalling the work, Seolhyun vowed not to cry when she first saw the edited version, but she couldn't stand it"I recalled the hard times. It was an omnibus-style structure, so I didn't know the amount of filming of other actors, but it was fun as if I was watching another drama", he expressed his feelings.

The process of building Ji-young's character was not easy. Seolhyun is a character with a disability, so she had a lot of restrictions on her expression, and it was difficult to set up a situation where she had to hide her emotions from the beginning" he vented. In particular, emotions should explode toward the second half of the drama, and there were many concerns about how to control this gap.

The most difficult scene was "The Bus God" in Part 8. Seol-hyun said "The director gave directions to each line of the bus scene, and the take went really far" and "I only focused on the director's direction and acted as much as that scene". However, after these efforts, the audience was able to feel Ji-young's desperate feelings intact.

Nevertheless, the reason Seol-hyun chose this role was simple. "I wanted to show you a new side of me."The script was so much fun, and the character Lee Ji-young played an impactful role, so I thought I could show my new side to the viewers if I pull it off well. "

He also shared his relationship with Um Tae-gu, his counterpart. The two actors also worked together in the movie 'Anshiseong'.

Seolhyun and Um Taegu are stars who don't talk much to each other. What??Even during the waiting time for filming, I focused on minimizing conversation. Seolhyun felt telepathic even though she didn't try to approach Eom Tae-gu intentionally"It wasn't awkward even if we didn't talk, and that naturalness made each other more comfortable", he explained.

He also mentioned a happy scene with Um Tae-gu. "Taegu was embarrassed but tried to express Hyunmin's love."I liked his sincere acting despite his embarrassment." heaped praise on us.

He also talked about director Kim Hee-won, who directed the movie. Seol-hyun said of director Kim Hee-won "I was more nervous because he also acted." Because I felt like I was going to get caught in all my shortcomings." However, director Kim continued his meticulous production by contemplating the characters with the actors. Seol-hyun "The director even demonstrates himself. 'How about this movement? He expressed satisfaction, saying, `They shared their concerns about acting.'

Seol-hyun also responded flexibly to director Kim's remarks at the production presentation that `The actor Seol-hyun's face is tacky.' "At first, I said that I could just think that way, but the director added an explanation later in case it hurt me" "He said in the hope that he would express more realistic and universal emotions"I understand," he said.

As for her impressions of playing Ji-young, a complex character with a mix of reality and fantasy, Seol-hyun said, `I paid attention to Ji-young's early tone of dialogue to bring out her genre characteristics, and made an unknown woman stand out"I tried to draw the psychology in detail by focusing on disability and trauma," he said.

Actress Seol Hyun, who has been in her 10th year since debut, has reaffirmed her passion for acting through this work. He said "The idea of acting changes every work. My goal was to show you a better performance than the previous work, and I think I'm still keeping it well," he said, "I want to continue to grow into an actor who continues to grow."

Just as Seol-hyun had the best evaluation of 'He sings well' when he was a singer, 'He's good at acting' is the best to hear as an actor. I want to be an actor who stands out for his role. I want to be an actor who I trust and watch," he added.

Finally, I learned how to play a changed self through the "Lightning Shop" so that the audience feels truly."``````````.
