Actor Park Hoon (43) returned with a sharp blade after sharpening his knife properly.

Park Hoon, who played Tatsuo Mori, a Japanese army post, in the action film 'Harbin' (directed by Woo Min-ho, produced by Hive Mediakov). He met with Sports Chosun in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 26th and confessed his passion for the work from the moment he appeared in Harbin.

'Harbin' is a 1909 work that depicts a breathtaking pursuit and doubt between those heading to Harbin and those who pursue it for one purpose. In addition to the huge psychological drama about the character Ahn Jung-geun, it dealt with the conflicts over sincerity, belief, anguish, and doubt among comrades who shared his will with him heavily and seriously.

In particular, Park Hoon, who transformed from Harbin to Datsuo Mori, a villain in opposition to Ahn Jung-geun (Hyun Bin), is also all-time. Park Hoon, who played Tatsuo Mori, a Japanese soldier who was captured as a prisoner of war after losing the Battle of Shin Asan but was released in the good faith of Ahn Jung-geun, later raised the tension of 'Harbin' as a villain who showed persistence and meanness to pursue Ahn Jung-geun to the end in a sense of contempt for Ahn Jung-geun.

On this day, Park Hoon was the first to express his joy about his thoughts on the 24th and surpassed 1 million viewers in two days, achieving the highest audience (about 850,000) on Christmas Day after the COVID-19 pandemic. "Last year's Christmas gift reached 10 million "Spring of Seoul" (directed by Kim Sung-soo). This year, it happened to be released during Christmas, and it was considered a big gift, but it exceeded 1 million viewers in just two days. I'm embarrassed to say hello to the audience immediately after I started the stage greeting today (26th).

Park Hoon, who challenged the period drama again with `Hansan: The Appearance of the Dragon'(22, directed by Kim Han-min)`Noryang: Sea of Death'(23, directed by Kim Han-min)`Spring of Seoul`Harbin`The casting process was also the drama itself. Park Hoon appeared as an informant for the U.S. in 『I was actually the managers of Namsan』 (20, directed by Woo Min-ho), which was edited in full. It was a work that I learned so much from acting with Lee Byung-hun in the field, and I learned that the movie was made like this. My role was completely edited, but I didn't feel sad because I thought the movie came out so nice and so cool. Rather, I think it was an opportunity to grow through that work. After "'Namsan's managers', I couldn't keep in touch with director Woo privately, and I was working hard on my next work. Then, when he was filming 'Seoul Spring'(23, director Kim Sung-soo), he contacted director Woo. Director Woo said he contacted me because he thought of me when he was preparing a movie called Harbin. Some people ask if director Woo was sorry for the editing, but that's not true. That's how I got the scenario of Harbin, and when I read it, I wanted to participate in this work in any sculpture. Coincidentally, I've done a lot of historical works, but I didn't mean it. On the one hand, it seemed like he liked the genre of history. I think we feel it a lot in our history," he said, explaining the appearance process.

Then while filming "'Harbin', I think director Woo felt really sorry for me. I've been told about the reason for the full editing about 100 times. But I didn't feel sad at all because I thought it was a process of growing up. And in 'Harbin', there may be actors who go through the same situation as me, and to those actors, I went and told them first. 'It's not that you didn't do it'Don't get hurt' etc. I told him that I don't want to be daunted by this. I hoped that the actors would use that as the foundation for the actors, and there were no seniors who spoke like me when "'Namsan managers'. He seems to have given personal comfort. However, when Lee Byung-hun acted with me at the scene, he told me 'I liked it so much that it actually gave me so much strength. I was satisfied with it, and I remember coming out of the scene in a good mood while listening to the compliments of my seniors. That was enough."

In 'Harbin'Mori Tatsuo revealed an eerie madness from head to toe. Park Hoon, who boldly shaved his head to build this image, "At first, director Woo Min-ho suggested shaved his head. The movie 'Harbin' felt like a poem. Poetry is unfamiliar, but isn't there something you can feel in each reader? I wanted to implicitly show my acting in a poem-like movie, so I was willing to shave my head. I thought it would be okay when expressed outwardly. I tried shaved my head when I debuted, and I remembered that face, and I wanted to see a slightly different point in 'Harbin'. So I got a scalp tattoo. I changed all my existing hair and forehead lines with scalp tattoos. I made the character with my own efforts, and I was proud to see how I liked it so much when I went to Latvia, the filming site, and showed it to director Wu. I think it's a better choice after watching the movie. I think the shaved head was great with mise-en-scène that the audience could immerse themselves in the character."

He "Mainly filmed in Latvia, where there aren't many Asians. Latvian citizens were very scared when they were filming because they were bulked up and Asians shaved their heads. The fear was palpable and visible to me. So I wore a hat, but when I take it off, everyone avoids me and opens the road around me. The actors and staff of 'Harbin' who saw it from behind laughed. Maybe I thought a weapon would come out of my arms. "It's a scary visual, so I went around smiling to look nice, but they said it was more counterproductive and scary."

In addition to his charismatic visuals with his shaved head, Park Hoon won favorable reviews for his natural Japanese performance in 'Harbin' as natural as the Japanese. Park Hoon said "I'm Korean, so how good can I be if I'm good at Japanese acting?" Still, there was Lily Frankie, who was with her in a difficult role in Korean work, and she hoped that there would be no inconvenience to the Japanese audience. I think I tried to get as close to natural as possible. But it was really hard. It felt tricky because I had to speak Japanese with more acting, not just speaking Japanese. "I explained Tatsuo Mori's feelings and lines in Korean to the Japanese teacher, and I printed them out again in Japanese. After finishing the work, the teacher's Korean acting improved more than mine. He acted so well that I asked him to audition for Korean works later. The process was complicated and difficult, but I'm glad that I acted without regretting it."

Then "It was a situation where I couldn't ad-lib freely because it was acting in Japanese. So the choice was minimal movement. The way he acts is very different from before and the tone of his voice is very different. I tried to show the least movement, the heaviness that excluded my original appearance as much as possible. I wanted to express Tatsuo Mori enough with my breath and energy. Even if I didn't answer, I hoped that the audience of my body's speed and energy would fully feel the emotions and feelings of this character. It was my first time performing the most compact and implicative act, and I'm satisfied with it myself."

An Jung-geun, who was the object of Tatsuo Mori's obsession. Park Hoon was also impressed with Hyun Bin, who worked together. He shed tears during the last shoot of `Hyun Bin 'Harbin'. I thought he was a really strong friend, but I was surprised to see him cry for the first time. I think Hyun Bin was enduring a lot while doing this work. I'm thankful that you made it through this drama"I'm a person who grew up watching Hyun Bin's acting through many media, right? Watching `Harbin', Hyun Bin's next chapter felt like it was open, so it was really good."

Prior to the 2018 tvN drama `Harbin', Park Hoon, who has been in charge of chasing Hyun Bin in the movie 『Memories of the Alhambra Palace』 (written by Song Jae-jung and directed by Ahn Gil-ho), is being called the official"Hyun Bin's Man" (22, directed by Lee Seok-hoon). In response "I think it happened very coincidentally. The directors cast the previous film, which came out with Hyun Bin and me, without seeing all of them. But I don't think I'll be able to watch all of 'Harbin', and I don't think I'll be able to act like I'm chasing Hyun Bin from now on. In fact, I talked to Hyun Bin over the phone while working on this work, and we all thought it was our last work and asked him to act because we should not interfere with each other and the audience watching. He also vowed to do his best to run without any regrets until the end. The actor thinks that when he gets used to it, he gets wet with inertia. I wonder if I can do the same work as Hyun Bin in the future unless I'm in a really different dramatic situation. I'm so grateful and happy to act together, but if it doesn't help his work, I think Hyun Bin's man will have a hard time" laughed wildly.

Finally, Park Hoon "It's a movie where you can feel small steps. When I first read the scenario of this work, I liked the small step Ahn Jung-geun took, so I chose it. The Harbin Rebellion was a really big event for our people. In fact, the oppression intensified after the uprising, and liberation took place in the distant future. At that time, no one would have known whether this was a good or bad deed. However, now that I think about it, this Harbin uprising served as an opportunity for other independents to develop their dreams and regain their minds that they had given up. We usually heroize and deify righteous men like Ahn Jung-geun. However, Ahn Jung-geun, I think, is not a person born as a hero, but a person who became a hero. He's a real hero who took a hard step."

Hyun Bin, Park Jung-min, Cho Woo-jin, Jeon Yeo-bin, Park Hoon, Yoo Jae-myung, and Lee Dong-wook were in charge of the mega-phone.
