The season 2 of 'Squid Game' held various events around the world, raising expectations before the release.

Returning to the game after vowing revenge, 'Gi-hoon'(Lee Jung-jae) and 'Frontman'(Lee Byung-hun) welcoming him, and a story about the real game that begins again 'Squid Game' Season 2 is drawing attention from all over the world by holding a large-scale fan event with global fans ahead of its release on the 26th.

In order to meet the hot expectations of fans around the world, season 2 of the 'Squid Game' has held fan events in a total of 11 countries, including Asia, Europe, the Americas, and South America, starting with Italy in October, bringing the global fandom together. In particular, various activities such as races, maze games, and DJ performances were held at the on-site event, and Korean food and culture were introduced together, giving fans around the world a new pleasure to experience not only Korean content but also culture as a whole. The event, which was held ahead of the release of season 2, recorded more than 2.15 billion exposures on Netflix's global social channel, proving the world's keen interest in Korean content.




'Squid Game' Season 2 began its full-fledged promotional activities at Europe's largest comic con 'Luka Comics & Games Festival' held in Italy on October 30. The pavilion space and special installation store under the theme of 'Squid Game' opened outside Anfiteatro Square provided an experience for more than 20,000 players who attended the event to immerse themselves in their works, and on Oct. 31, director Hwang Dong-hyuk, actor Lee Jung-jae, and Wi Ha-joon held a special event to meet with fans in person, adding to the highlights of the event.

On Dec. 1, on the Champs Elysees in Paris, France, 'Agung flowers bloomed' The game is open. Starting with the World Premiere Event held at Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul on December 9, various events are underway for countless fans who have been waiting for 'Squid Game' in Korea. First, the open stage on the first floor of Shinsegae Department Store's Gangnam branch will run a pop-up of Season 2 of 'Squid Game' from December 20 to January 12, and the central square on the second basement floor of the Centum City store will run from December 20 to January 5. The pop-up is drawing a hotter response from the entrance to the large 'Younghee' not only welcoming visitors directly, but also meeting participant registered photo booths and maze stairs in the work.

At the Gangnam pop-up, you can rent green training suits worn by game participants until December 28 and meet piggy banks in person. The participant's accommodation, reproduced just like the world in 'Squid Game', also features bunker beds and OX voting machines used in the actual shooting. From December 29, the participant's accommodation will be transformed into a space where you can experience the games that appear in season 2.
