'Squid Game 2' Tops Netflix Charts in 93 Countries

According to the OTT ranking aggregation site FlixPatrol, 'Squid Game 2', which was released worldwide on Dec. 26, ranked No. 1 in the global TV show category on Netflix within three days of its release. In particular, the series proved its powerful global power by winning the top spot in all 93 countries.
Shortly after its release, 'Squid Game 2', which ranked first in 92 countries, added New Zealand the next day, reaching the top in a total of 93 countries. It has continued to be popular around the world as it has been successful in New Zealand as well as major countries such as Korea, the United States, Japan, France, Germany, and Brazil.
'Squid Game 2' depicts a confrontation between Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae), who participated in the game again, and the frontman (Lee Byung-hun), who greets him, and a suspenseful survival game played by new participants.
Thanks to the great success of season 1, 'Squid Game 2', which drew keen attention from all over the world even before its release, received mixed reviews from a number of foreign media immediately after its release.
