'12.12: The Day' Takes Top Honor at 11th Korea Film Producers Association Awards

The Korea Film Producers Association announced the winning film of the 11th negotiation on the 5th. My negotiation award is to express my gratitude and encouragement to the main characters who have shone in the Korean film industry throughout the year. This year, many filmmakers and film industry officials will attend to add significance. As a result, '12.12: The Day' (work award), director Kim Sung-soo (director award), director Jang Jae-hyun (concrete award), director Cho Jung-seok, Kim Go-eun, Ji Chang-wook, and Yeom Hye-ran. The highest honor, best picture, is 'Spring of Seoul'. Jang Jae-hyun, director of 'Pmyo', which is an interesting composition of the occult genre based on feng shui geography and shamanistic beliefs, will receive the screenplay award. Director Jang Jae-hyun has previously written and directed 'Black Priests'Sabaha' as well as 'Sabaya'.
Cho Jung-seok of 'pilot' will win the Best Actor Award. He transformed into a man dressed as a woman and showed off his unique patent 'Cho Jung-seok's comic acting' that did not disappoint his expectations. The Best Actress Award will be given to Kim Go-eun, who transformed into a shaman and performed intensely. The Best Supporting Actor Award will be awarded to Ji Chang-wook of 『Revolver" who showed a certain presence by completing a character with a complex inner side, and the Best Supporting Actress Award will be awarded to Shim Min-deok-hee" Yeom Hye-ran, who showed excellent Chinese skills and energized the work with her unique slick performance.
The winners of the Photography and Lighting Awards are Lee Mo-gae and Lee Sung-hwan of the 「Seoul Spring"'Pumyo'. Seo Seong-kyung of 'Farmo' and 'Wonderland' will win the art prize, and Kim Sun-min and Cho Yoo-kyung of 'Kim Dae Jung' will win the editorial prize. The Music Award will be given to Lee Jae-jin of the '12.12: The Day' and Kim Byung-in of the "Pillow" Award. The winner of the technical award is Yoo Sang-seop and Jang Han-seung, who are in charge of the martial arts 'Veteran 2'. The Best New Director Award will be given to Oh Jung-min of 'Jangson', Director Jeong Ji-hye of 'Jeong-soon', and the Best New Actor Award to Roh Sang-hyun of 'The Love Act of the Large City'.
The winner of this year's special award is HaHa Films, CEO, and Lee Ha-young, a member of the Korean Film Producers Association (PGK). In July of this year, the Film Industry Crisis Overcoming Film People's Solidarity (hereinafter referred to as Film People's Solidarity) was launched with the aim of solving the unfair problem of the film industry, spreading the value of independent and art films, guaranteeing freedom of expression and professional rights of filmmakers, and creating a cultural democracy and gender-equal culture. The Korea Film Producers Association Award, which selects award-winning films through voting by members of the association and the heart of the operating committee, will be held at IndySpace from 7 p.m. on the 17th (Tue). It will be broadcast live on the Korea Film Producers Association and Max Movie YouTube. Actor Kim Gyu-ri will host the event.
