In the fifth episode of 'The Phone You Called Now' aired on the 13th, a shocking development was depicted in which Baek Sa-eon (Yu Yeon-seok) noticed that his wife Hong Hee-joo (Chae Soo-bin) was a blackmailer. The viewer rating on the day was 5.9% nationwide and 5.3% in the Seoul metropolitan area, surpassing the highest viewer rating of 6.3% (based on Nielsen Korea).
In the play, Sa-eon worried about Hee-ju, who was standing precariously, but when she learned that the blackmailer was at the hotel venue, she began to doubt Hee-ju. Since then, Hee-joo has been happy to pass the presidential office's sign language interpreter interview, and the relationship between the two has grown closer. However, Hee-joo's older sister Hong In-ah (Han Jae-yi) appeared among them, causing anxiety.
In the second half of the broadcast, Sageon found out that the blackmailer was a woman and ordered him to match Hee-joo's voice with the voice of the call. That night, the drunken Sageon and Hee-joo kissed in front of the front door, adding to their affection, but soon after, Dojae's text revealed that the blackmailer's voice matched Hee-joo's, shocking.
