A number of entertainment programs, including actress Song Hye-kyo, decided to cancel the show in time for the national mourning period and paid tribute to the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster.

tvN entertainment show 'You Quiz on the Block', which Song Hye-kyo was scheduled to appear on, canceled the broadcast on the 1st. tvN said "The 275th episode, which was scheduled to air on January 1, will be canceled and will be broadcasted next week." This episode drew expectations for Song Hye-kyo's return to the screen after 10 years with the movie 「Black Sisters」, but the broadcast was postponed to the 8th.

Song Hye-kyo's appearance on entertainment shows for the first time in 17 years, and the trailer released last week alone drew a lot of attention. However, 179 people were killed in the accident, creating an atmosphere of national mourning, and broadcasters are also participating in the memorial through cancellation and change of organization.

MBC Entertainment 'Radio Star' also canceled the broadcast on the 1st. Instead, MBC organized a movie starring Lee Dong-wook and Lim Soo-jung "Single in Seoul." Channel A entertainment show `Nowadays Men's Life-Groom Class' was also canceled and replaced with a rerun of the drama 'Check-in Hanyang'. TV Chosun's entertainment show 'Miss Three Lang' also canceled the broadcast on the same day. TV Chosun said in an official statement that `The program scheduled to air on January 1st will be canceled and we ask the viewers for their understanding," he said.

The movie industry and the music industry are also adding to their condolences. The film industry cancels or reduces the schedule for stage personnel and sends a message of condolence to the victims and their families, and the music industry remembers the heartbreaking accident by canceling or postponing the scheduled performance.
