Kim Tae-won, a Joseon lover, cannot get a visa due to his previous cannabis record 40 years ago...a video call of tears with one's son-in-law

Kim Tae-won of Resurrection met his American son-in-law for the first time over a video call.

In TV Chosun 'Joseon's Lover', which aired on the 27th, Kim Tae-won's daughter Seohyun was about to get married, and her first meeting with her American husband Devin was revealed. However, Kim Tae-won was in a situation where he could not go to the U.S. directly because he did not get a U.S. visa due to his past cannabis convictions. As a result, the program production team headed to the United States instead, and Kim Tae-won met his son-in-law through a video call.

When Seo-hyun's newlywed house in the center of Manhattan, New York, was unveiled, Kim Kook-jin and Kang Soo-ji were surprised, saying, `The monthly rent will be well over 3 million won.'

In the video call that finally took place, Devin, the prospective son-in-law, drew attention with his warm appearance and sad impression that resembled singer Eric. Kim Tae-won looked nervous preparing English questions, and Devin did his best by greeting in Korean.

In particular, Seohyun confessed, "'I had a dangerous situation during the COVID pandemic, so I lived with Devin.'"I've been depressed since I was 14 years old, but I've gotten a lot better after meeting Devin." Father Kim Tae-won's congratulatory message eventually moved him with tears.

Kim Tae-won gave his daughter a heartfelt blessing, saying, `If you can be happy, Dad will do anything.'
