The broadcast began in Hana-eup in 2013, when Kang-hee and Yeonsu separated. Kang-hee, who has been suffering from being a prominent mixed-race child since childhood in Hana-eup, a rural village with a lot of gossip and interest in others, decided to leave her hometown, which hurt her countless times, and her boyfriend Yeonsu and Kanghee's father Chunpil (Choi Min-soo), who failed to break Kanghee's stubbornness, prepared to let Kanghee go silently.
And on the night before the new year, Kang-hee suddenly called Yeonsu and said she was going to leave today, and when Yeonsu said she had an appointment, she said, `I will say goodbye now. Surprised by Kanghee's threat, Yeonsu ran to Kanghee's home, Motel California, and Kanghee, who greeted Yeonsu at a dark motel where the electricity was cut off, finally asked Yeonsu if she would like to go to college in Seoul. Kanghee, who tried hard to pretend to be okay and was disappointed, suddenly asked Yeonsu "Do you want to sleep with me?"I asked a panicked Yeonsu. "I hope your first time is me. It's not curiosity, it's not defiance. It's just that, at first, it's the purest thing." Kang-hee and Yeonsu, who are about to say goodbye, engraved memories of their first experiences on each other's bodies, and Kang-hee and Yeonsu, who were left behind on a bus to Seoul, faced a heartbreaking breakup.
Ten years later, 2023 has passed. Kang-hee, who left for Seoul and cut off contact while protecting Hana-eup as a warm and sharp veterinarian where Yeonsu plumped, was enduring a hard life. Kang Hee, who became an interior designer, was blacklisted for reporting overdue wages at her previous job, so she couldn't find a decent job and worked part-time at a construction site.
Then, Kang-hee caught the eye of Hwang Jung-gu (Woo Mi-hwa), director of Moment, a leading interior company, who came as the site manager, and got the opportunity to interview again as an interior designer. Kang-hee, who made a portfolio with excitement and visited Moment, gave up the interview and left forlornly, being ignored by director Hwang's secretary (Oh Seung-ah) because she was a parachute with no academic background or qualifications.
At that moment, Kang-hee recalled the training she had left in her hometown, and she re-entered it to show the current Ji Kang-hee, who is not ashamed of Yeonsu. And Kang-hee, who returned to the moment after applying fierce smokey makeup as if changing her combat uniform, successfully met director Hwang after paying back for her secretary's rudeness to stop her.
Kang-hee was able to join Moment as a three-month intern with the support of Director Hwang despite the blatant rejection of Mok (Cho Sang-ki), the recruiter. One day, Kang-hee, who was able to attend a client meeting after leaving her job in charge, met Geum Seok-kyung (played by Kim Tae-hyung) who is a little eccentric for the first time.
Seok-kyung, who wanted to remodel her newlywed house as a surprise wedding gift for her female friend Esther (Seo Ye-hwa), liked Kang-hee's philosophy that it is right to fit the house with the people, not the people. Esther, a real resident, was also satisfied with the consultation with Kang-hee, and Kang-hee's influence within the project grew.
At the same time, Yeonsu was in Seoul. At that time, it was a daily routine to travel around Seoul on a day off in the hope that he might encounter Kang-hee. Yeonsu, who met Hanwoo (Jeong Yong-joo), who is working in Seoul, and stopped by the cafe, happened to see Kang-hee who came out to buy coffee with Seok-kyung, and recognized Kang-hee at a glance. However, after encountering Kang-hee, who had dreamed of in 10 years, Yeon-soo, who became ice-hardened, missed Kang-hee who left the cafe in front of her eyes, causing regret.
Kang-hee did her best to make a design proposal for Esther, but Chief Mok ignored Kang-hee's proposal and even fired her during the project. I didn't want to recognize Kang-hee's ability without academic background or background.

Kang-hee, who finally confirmed Yeonsu's face, was surprised at Yeonsu's appearance, which has changed so much from 10 years ago.
