MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Motel California' (hereinafter 'Motel California'), which will premiere on the 10th, is a remodeling romance of the first love that the female protagonist, who was born in a motel in the countryside and grew up in a motel, experiences when she reunites with her first love in her hometown, where she fled 12 years ago.
Based on Shim Yoon-seo's popular novel 'Home, Bitter Home', which was written in 2019 and built MBC's box office record with 'Clothes Sleeve Red End Dong' and 'Yeolnyeo Park's Contract Marriage' Lee Se-young (played by Ji Kang-hee), and Nine-woo (played by Chun Yeon-soo), who shot a female heart through 'The Moon Rising Kang' and 'Marry My Husband', are raising expectations.
Among them, Lee Se-young plays Ji Kang-hee, an interior designer who has lived a difficult life due to the unusual background and striking appearance of a rural motel, and Nineu plays natural water, a large animal veterinarian who is considered the number one source of love for farmers in Hana-eup, and is expected to create a "first love romance craze" in the New Year's home room.

Most of all, the tension between Kanghee and Yeonsu catches the eye. Yeonsu sits on Kanghee's bed, and Kanghee sits on her lap, and eye contact with each other creates suffocating tension. Soon after, Kang-hee carefully grabbed Yeon-soo's scarf and slowly approached her and kissed her, and Ye-soo, who was nervous and did not know what to do, closed her eyes and focused on kissing Kang-hee, made the viewer's heart flutter.
As such, the excitement of Kang-hee and Yeonsu, who have just turned 20 years old, is drawing keen attention to the first broadcast of 'Motel Calli'.
MBC's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Motel California' will premiere at 9:50 p.m. on January 10.
