Actor Kim Ji-woo is making all-out efforts to debut as an idol.
Kim Ji-woo is starring as idol trainee Yoon Ji-young in the original Genie TV drama 『Namib" (scripted by Um Sung-min, directed by Han Sang-jae and Kang Min-gu). He is capturing the hearts of viewers with his loyal appearance of constantly striving for dreams and risking danger for friendship.
In last week's broadcast, Kim Ji-woo connected his best friends Yoo Jin-woo (Ryeowoon) and Shim Jin-woo (Lee Jin-woo) with their unique affinity The Three Musketeers were formed. Kang Soo-hyun (Go Hyun-jung), Shim Joon-seok (Yoon Sang-hyun), and Hong Jung-hwa (Kim Hyun-sook) joined together to audition for 'Starrise', drawing attention.

In the released photo, Kim Ji-woo receives a hairband designed by Shim Jin-woo and smiles happily, and is focusing on rigorous training to survive the audition of 'StarRise'. Along with inducing smiles from those who try to express their energy, it makes us look forward to the main broadcast.
Kim Ji-woo, who has such a solid presence, is sincerely portraying the character by practicing piano and strengthening basic skills with the passion of taking separate dance and vocal lessons even before filming.
Meanwhile, 'Namib', starring Kim Ji-woo, is a drama about fired star producer Kang Soo-hyun and released long-term trainee Yoo Jin-woo meeting and moving toward their respective goals, and it airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 p.m. on ENA, and streaming is provided free of charge on KT Genie TV and Genie TV Mobile immediately after the actual broadcast.
