At the production presentation for Coupang Play series 'Newtopia' held at Conrad Hotel in Yeouido, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 7th, Jisoo said, `BLACKPINK members are working hard in their respective fields"Whenever the members did well, they were congratulated like their own, so I became more responsible and worked hard on the shooting."
'Newtopia' is a story about soldier Jae-yoon and a bear lord running to each other across downtown Seoul, where they were attacked by zombies, and Yoon Sung-hyun, the director of the films 'Watchmen' and 'Time for the Hunt', took the megaphone. Ji-Soo transformed into Young-Joo, a bold bear with a straight instinct that crosses even a group of zombies.
Earlier in December 2023, Jisoo signed a renewal contract with YG Entertainment for the entire BLACKPINK activity. Since then, he has established a private label 'Blissu' and heralded active acting activities. He said "If the members do well, many people congratulate me. As I was congratulated like my job, I felt deeply that the members were in a family-like relationship. It's good for other members to hear good things about me, so I filmed 'Newtopia' harder. I hope a lot of people will love the work," he said of the wind.
Meanwhile, the Coupang Play series 'Newtopia' will be released for the first time at 8 p.m. on February 7.
