According to overseas distributor FineCut, on the 21st (local time), the executive committee of the Berlin International Film Festival announced an official invitation to Hong Sang-soo's new film 'What Nature Says to You' at a press conference.
This is the sixth consecutive year of invitations, following Hong Sang-soo's previous works 'The Runaway Woman', 'Introduction', 'The Novelist's Film', 'In the Water' and 'The Need of Travelers'. Director Hong Sang-soo won the 67th Silver Bear Award for Best Actress for "Alone on the Beach at Night" at the Berlin International Film Festival, the 70th Silver Bear Award for Best Director for "The Woman Who Runs Away", the 71st Silver Bear Award for Best Screenplay for "Introduction", the 72nd Silver Bear Award for "Fictionist's Film", and the 74th Silver Bear Award for "Necessity of Travelers".

'What Does Nature Say to You' is a work in which Ha Sung-guk, Kwon Hae-hyo, and Cho Yoon-hee, who have appeared in many of Hong Sang-soo's previous works, participated together. The movie is about what happens when a poet in his thirties, Donghwa, accidentally visits his lover Jun-hee's house.
The Berlin International Film Festival, which marks its 75th anniversary this year, will be held in Berlin, Germany from February 13 to 23. 'What Nature Says to You' is expected to be released in Korea in the first half of this year after it was released as a world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival.
