According to the integrated computer network of movie theater admission tickets on the 9th, director Lee Jong-seok's 'It's a fairy tale but it's a blue Buddha' ranked second at the box office, attracting more than 20,000 viewers during the day of its release. In the CGV Golden Egg Index, the audience rating index, it recorded 80%, receiving favorable reviews for its fresh setting, while regretting the somewhat clichéd story also coexists.
The film tells the story of Danbi (Park Ji-hyun), a public official who cracks down on illegal pornography and dreams of becoming a fairy tale writer, who is struggling to write an adult romance web novel. Park Ji-hyun showed a strong image through dramas such as "The Youngest Son of the Congregation" and movies "Hidden Face", but in this film, she challenged the comedy genre for the first time, giving off a different charm.
Director Michael Mann's 『Ferrari』, which was released on the same day, attracted more than 10,000 viewers and ranked fourth at the box office. The film, which tells the story of Enzo Ferrari, the founder of sports car brand Ferrari, is also drawing attention with an 80% Golden Egg index.
Meanwhile, 「Harbin」, depicting Ahn Jung-geun's Harbin uprising, maintained its top spot at the box office, adding more than 48,000 audiences. The cumulative number of audiences has surpassed 3.82 million, and the box office is cruising.
