Season 2 of the Netflix series 'Squid Game' surpassed 126.2 million viewers in 11 days after its release, maintaining the top spot in the global top 10 series category for two consecutive weeks.

Season 2 of the `Squid Game' captivated viewers around the world, focusing on the fierce battle between Lee Jung-jae (Ki-hoon), who returned to the game after vengeful revenge, and frontman Lee Byung-hun, who greeted it.

According to Netflix's Top 10 TO DO website, Season 2 of the `Squid Game' hit 58.2 million viewers from Dec. 30 to Jan. 5, topping the global top 10 series of English and non-English integration, making it a top 10 list in 93 countries.




Season 2, which ranked seventh in Netflix's most popular non-English-speaking series in its first week of release, jumped to second place with 126.2 million viewers in 11 days. As a result, both season 1 and season 2 proved their status by being listed in the top of Netflix's all-time most popular series.

In particular, season 1 continues to respond enthusiastically, driving backwards to second place in the global top 10 non-English series amid the craze for season 2.

Season 2 of 'Squid Game' is currently streaming on Netflix, while season 3 will be released in 2025.
