In the 11th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Phone You Called Now' (played by Kim Ji-woon, directed by Park Sang-woo and We Deuk-gyu), Baek Sa-eon (Yoo Yeon-seok) struggles to find Hong Hee-joo (Chae Soo-bin) who is missing.
In the previous broadcast, Sa-eon and Hee-ju firmly defended their love in the face of numerous adversities, including the pressure of the kidnapper (Park Jae-yoon) and the betrayal of Park Do-jae (Choi Woo-jin), who believed in it. However, Hee-joo, who was kidnapped again at the 1st anniversary ceremony of Baek Jang-ho (Jung Dong-hwan), shocked the small screen by causing a car accident on her own to protect her speech from her kidnapper.
A day before the main broadcast, a still released on the 2nd shows Sageon visiting the scene of Heeju's accident. Sageon revealed the missing identity of Hee-joo to the world and went out to find his wife by any means. The emaciated sage's face gives us an idea of how hard it has been.
Meanwhile, Hong In-ah (Han Jae-i), Baek Ui-yong (Yoo Sung-joo), Hong Il-kyung (Choi Kwang-il), and Kim Yeon-hee (Oh Hyun-kyung) also arrive at the accident site at one step. Yeon-hee is devastated by the disappearance of her daughter, and Il-kyung is angry as she grabs Eui-yong by the collar. While watching his grieving family members, Sa-eon sets up a day of doubt by paying attention to Kyu-jin's behavior, which is the only one who did not come to the scene. Sageon does not give up and judges the situation coolly even though several clues suggesting Hee-joo's death have been found.
In another still, Sa-eon is holding a fiery private meeting with Kyu-jin at the police station's investigation room, amplifying tension. As to why Kyu-jin was investigated, Sa-eon said that he takes out the last card to find Hee-joo, and questions soar about his identity. Attention is focused on the fate of Hee-joo, who has disappeared, and Sageon, who is looking for her, as to what kind of conversation will have come and gone between the two mother and son who are heading to the extreme.
The 11th episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'The Phone You Called Now' will air at 9:50 p.m. on the 3rd.
