On the 10th, a production presentation for the new ENA entertainment program "UNDERCOVER" was held in Mapo-gu, Seoul. Producer Lee Seo-young and producer Park Sang-hyun, as well as Jung Jae-hyung, Park Jung-hyun, Lee Seok-hoon, Kwon Eun-bi and Groovyroom, attended the site to raise expectations for the program.
'Undercover' is an entertainment program centered on the survival of cover influencers who reinterpret the original song and add new charm. Cover influencers, who have been loved explosively through SNS and YouTube, are all out, and their total number of followers reaches 74 million. Producer Lee Seo-young said, `I wanted to plan a new and unique survival program in our country, which is a nation of excitement", he explained.
Participants include Greg, who is called 'Cover 1st Generation', Cha Da-bin, who has accumulated 4 billion views, Blue Chip Vincent Blue of OST, the wife of actor Ko Kyu-pil, and the sister of group Rise Sohee, drawing high expectations. The screening method is also unique. One judge and participants will face one-on-one and provide a tense stage through a screening process that resembles a pressure interview.
Jeong Jae-hyung noted participants who could express their narratives through songs, rather than just those who sing well." Park Jung-hyun said, `We used the reason for selecting the cover song and how to express it on stage as the criteria for judging.' "The difference between the participants and the existing music survival is that they are influencers that have already been an issue," Lee Seok-hoon said. "I thought a lot during the screening process." Kwon Eun-bi said, "I'm from a survival program, so I understand the participants' feelings better than anyone else"As a judge, I was very supportive of the participants."
In particular, Rise So-hee's older sister appeared as a participant and drew attention. Kwon Eun-bi said, `I've seen So-hee's older sister singing video on YouTube, and when I actually saw the stage, she did a really good job.' `I felt the power of the gene was scary, and I wondered how happy my parents would be.'
Jung Jae-hyung emphasized that there are many participants who have both skills and emotion in "Undercover", saying, "The participants' narratives, selections that capture them, and the stage bring tears and laughter at the same time." He added that `unexpected performances by influencers will give viewers a surprising pleasure.'
ENA 'Undercover', which is already raising expectations for moving moments created by the passion of judges and participants, will premiere at 7:40 p.m. on the 12th.
