T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun), a former member of the group Big Bang, will be interviewed for 'Squid Game 2'.

Netflix announced on the 10th that Top, who appeared in 'Squid Game 2', will be interviewed somewhere in Seoul on the 15th. In particular, the interview draws more attention as it is the first time that
T.O.P meets with reporters since the drug scandal.

Earlier in February 2017, while serving in the military as a police officer,
T.O.P was later found to have smoked cannabis at home in 2016 and was sentenced to October in prison and two years of probation. Later, he withdrew from Big Bang and announced his retirement from the entertainment industry, but the news of his joining 'Squid Game 2' was suddenly reported. In the process, actors Lee Jung-jae and Lee Byung-hun, who were known to have been close to Top, were also caught up in the 'casting involvement theory'. Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, Lee Jung-jae, and Lee Byung-hun, who directed this, repeatedly explained the controversy over the casting of Top's personal connections through interviews and production presentations, but the public is still turning their back. In addition to the controversy over the tower's lack of acting skills, it has been heavily criticized.

Meanwhile, Netflix's original series 'Squid Game 2', which was released on the 26th of last month, is a story about a fierce battle between Ki-hoon (Lee Jung-jae) who returns to the game after vowing revenge and the frontman (Lee Byung-hun), who greets him, and director Hwang Dong-hyuk took the megaphone following the previous episode. In the play, Top played the role of 'weak rapper' Thanos.
