The production presentation of the new Netflix original series 'Severe Trauma Center' (played by Choi Tae-gang, directed by Lee Do-yoon) was held at Grand Intercontinental Seoul Parnas in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 21st. Director Lee Do-yoon, Joo Ji-hoon, Chu Young-woo, Ha-young, Yoon Kyung-ho, and Jung Jae-kwang attended the event.
Director Lee Do-yoon said of what Joo Ji-hoon and Baek Kang-hyuk have in common: `He is tall and handsome. The unlucky point is similar. I thought he was a person with the right direction. When you decide that this is the right path, you are a character who is moving on without hesitation. As a character, it will save people, and Joo Ji-hoon shows that as an actor. I could see that he was a man of great stride. I wondered if the feeling of going out in a big stride came from the wide walk that the audience, including myself, could feel while watching that character. That's how I see the commonalities between the two."
'Centre for Severe Trauma' is a work based on the webtoon of the same name. It tells the exhilarating story of Baek Kang-hyuk (Joo Ji-hoon), a genius surgeon who worked on the battlefield, when he was appointed to resuscitate a famous severe trauma team. Director Lee Do-yoon, who directed the movie "Good Friends", and Choi Tae-gang, the writer of "Adamas", joined forces.
'Severe Trauma Center' will be released on Netflix on the 24th.
