KBS2 entertainment program 「"The Living Men Season 2" aired on the 1st drew a surprise party for the family held on the occasion of Ji Sang-ryul's 56th birthday and an episode of 「Wish for the Long Family」.
On this day, Ji Sang-ryul visited Incheon traditional market with his eldest brother. In the market, he was welcomed by merchants and citizens by showing off his unique knuckles and talks. In the meantime, a citizen suddenly grabbed Ji Sang-ryul's hand and offered a pep talk of "Be healthy". He then surprised everyone by predicting that there will be a relationship within this year after counting with his fingers.
In response, Ji Sang-ryul was frustrated, saying "Is it next year again, or it was originally this year?" but the citizen in question "We calculate by lunar calendar." It's still 2024 now that the Lunar New Year has not passed." Then, he was sure that he would marry in the fall, and "Our Sang-ryeol is getting married!," he said, expressing his joy by dancing on the spot.
As it turned out, this citizen was a shaman, and Ji Sang-ryul was puzzled by the sudden fortune-telling but could not hide his expectations. Eun Ji-won and Baek Ji-young laughed when they heard this, saying, `If you want to get married in the fall, you have to start dating right now.'
After returning home, Ji Sang-ryul had a birthday dinner with her family. The sister-in-law constantly pressed for marriage even before the carefully prepared birthday table. When comedian Kim Yong-myung asked "Do you have time to meet a girl?", Ji Sang-ryeol showed confidence, saying "If you like me, I'll go to Busan", but his sister-in-law "You should have done that." However, Sang-ryeol surprised everyone by revealing that he takes his nephew with him even on a date.
Ji Sang-ryul made an excuse, saying "It's awkward to be together with two people", but the panels were puzzled, saying "It's the worst". Ji Sang-ryul then reflected on her past relationship, saying, `I think of a friend who went fishing with my nephew before,' and the cast members laughed when they heard this, saying, `Did you realize that now?'
Meanwhile, Ji Sang-ryul's eldest brother "It would be really convenient for someone to marry our Sang-ryul. Sang-ryeol emphasized his younger brother's easy-going personality, saying, "I only eat boiled eggs as a side dish." In response, Ji Sang-ryul asked Kim Yong-myung, "How much will you help me if I get married?" and Kim replied "I will do 500,000 won."
Then, Ji Sang-ryul surprised everyone by saying "My close brother calculated my assistance roughly, and how much was 200 million won."
Earlier, Ji Sang-ryul made headlines by saying that he has been living with his sister-in-law for 40 years through 'Salimnam'. He is not a widower. I've rarely lived alone. "I've lived with my sister-in-law since I was a first grader in middle school. It's more than my parents. Four generations lived together," he said.
