On the 3rd, a video titled 'New Office, New Plan' was posted on the YouTube channel 'Life84'. In the video, Gian84 revealed the history of the workplace changes along with the process of finding a new office.
Regarding the reason why he moved to Gangnam, Gian84 said, `I'm going to hire a few more employees and move them closer to home.'"We really moved a lot of studios," he recalled.
In the early days of his webtoon debut, he lived in the semi-basement of Sangsu-dong with Calm Man (Lee Byung-gun), and worked with Lim In-s, the author of 『Fashion King" in Wonju, Gangwon-do for six months. He said he moved to Dongtan Forest Village and Dongtan Metapolis in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, but he was called to Naver's headquarters due to the late deadline and had to close at the headquarters for two years.
After that, working at an art academy in Suwon, he spent a year in the office of an art academy in Gwacheon, and then ran an office for two years with a sign in the Angol village of Gwacheon for the first time. After that, he decided to move again after going through the office in Nonhyeon-dong, where the monthly rent is high, and the studio with the view of the Virgin Mary in Yeouido.
In the video, Gian84 looked at office sales located in Gangnam. The first candidate was a new 30.4-pyeong office (monthly rent of 3.7 million won) but passed because it was similar in size to the office he is currently using. The second was an office with a deposit of 50 million won and a monthly rent of 3.8 million won, but I didn't like the fact that there was no elevator.
Lastly, this office was previously used by a design company. When the broker said "The previous tenant went to Sangsu-dong," Gian84 appeared worried, asking "Did he go well or was he ruined?" In response, the broker answered "It went well" to reassure him.
The two-story structure was wider than the previous sale, with a total of 25 pyeong and a total of 50 pyeong on the first and second floors, respectively. The price was high with a deposit of 100 million won and a monthly rent of 5.5 million won, but Gian84 finally chose this place, saying, `It's better to be expensive.'
Gian84 invited model and broadcaster Ji Ye-eun as the first guest after moving. Ji Ye-eun looked around the office and said, `You must have made a lot of money. He said, "Come to Gangnam." In response, Gian84 trembled, explaining that it was the monthly rent.
Meanwhile, Gian84 reportedly purchased a building near Seokchon Station in Songpa-gu for 4.6 billion won in 2019. The current market price of the building is said to have risen to about 6.2 billion won.
