‘Buried Hearts’ Leads Ratings, Beats ‘Undercover High School’

Park Hyung-sik laughed before Seo Kang-joon in the ratings competition in the first week of the broadcast.

According to viewer rating research firm Nielsen Korea on the 23rd, SBS's Friday-Saturday drama `Treasure Island' recorded an 8.1% viewership nationwide. This is a 2 percentage point increase from the 6.1% recorded by the previous broadcast. MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School', which aired on the same day, received 6.6% of the viewership. This is a 1 percentage point increase from the 5.6% recorded by the last broadcast, and both dramas are on the rise, drawing attention.

However, in the first week's ratings competition, Park Hyung-sik is ahead of Seo Kang-joon. In 「Treasure Island」, Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik) stood up despite the betrayal of his lover Yeo Eun-nam (Hong Hwa-yeon), and it was revealed that it was non-starter Yeom Jang-seon (Heo Jun-ho) who designed all of this betrayal, and the full-fledged confrontation between Seo Dong-ju and Yeom Jang-seon began.

In "Undercover High School", Jung Hae-sung (Seo Kang-joon) begins to dig into the truth of ghost stories spread in the school with his friend Lee Dong-min (Shin Joon-hang). In particular, it is said that the tension was raised by capturing an epilogue showing the signatory watching Hae-sung, who looks at the basement of the old building in the school, on CCTV.

Amid the tense confrontation between the two sides, tvN's new work 'Potato Research Institute' will participate in the competition from next week. Attention is also focusing on the appearance of 'Potato Research Institute', which starred Kang Tae-oh and Lee Sun-bin.
