Park Jin-young was 19 years old at the press conference for Channel A's new Saturday drama 'Witch' held at the Grand Ballroom of The St. in D-Cube City, Seoul on the 11th"We're on the same wavelength, but we're just old."
Based on Kang Pul's popular webtoon, "Witch" is a mystery romance in which Dong-jin (Park Jin-young), a man who wants to break the law of bad luck surrounding a woman called a witch, and Mi-jeong (Roh Jeong-ui), a woman who became the seed of tragedy and cut herself off from the world, become each other's salvation after a journey that does not give up.
Director Kim Tae-kyun, who showed dense directing power through the movie 「Dark Murder」, will direct and add sensuous interpretation. On top of that, it is receiving enthusiastic support from fans with a 200% synchro ratio with original webtoon characters such as Park Jin-young, Roh Jung-ui, Lim Jae-hyuk, and Jang Hee-ryeong.
In particular, Park Jin-young and Roh Jung-ui meet again in the drama Dream High 2 in 2012 and attract attention. Park Jin-young "I felt that time went by very quickly. That was the year I made my debut. I thought that I could work with a friend I met at the scene again", he confessed.
Then "I feel the same way as then, but I feel like I've only aged. I was nineteen at the time." MC Park Kyung-rim, who hosted the production presentation, said "What can I do?", and Park Jin-young was awkward and said "I'm sorry".
He said "But I think it was amazing. Due to the nature of the drama, the male and female protagonists don't meet much, so I asked them to meet again in another drama. Roh Jung-ui said, `They treated me so comfortably that I was comfortable when acting. Since it's been a long time since we met, I haven't seen each other there, so I acted excitedly and had fun like my first meeting."
Channel A's new Saturday drama 'Witch' will premiere at 9:10 p.m. on the 15th.
