In the final episode of the original TVing drama 'Study Group' (played by Oh Bo-hyun, directed by Lee Jang-hoon) released on the 20th, Yoon Ga-min (Hwang Min-hyun) and Choi Han-ul (Cha Woo-min), the final boss, played a thrilling match. Hwang Min-hyun doubled the fun of performing lively action until the end.
In 'Study Group', Hwang Min-hyun transformed himself into Yoon Ga-min himself by perfectly digesting the unique character settings of 'Clear-eyed maniac' (Clear-eyed maniac), 'Hide Fat' (a term referring to an extremely strong protagonist). It also drew enthusiastic reviews such as "Rediscovery of Hwang Min-hyun" and "Forten properly exploded" with a wide range of acting spectra that freely cross from hyper-action to detailed emotional lines.
Hwang Min-hyun's high synchro rate, which was 100% synchronized with the original webtoon character shown in 'Study Group', was by far the best. He not only completed the model student Yoon Ga-min with a neat school uniform, bumpy hair, and trademark horn-rimmed glasses, but also depicted the appearance of 'Nerdmi' with his shy eyes and harmless smile.
Hwang Min-hyun's action 'Hwang Min-hyun' also drew attention every time. The tension of the play was added by 'gravity-free action' and 'hyper action' which puts the body on a wire and breaks down the wall with a fist. In this work, which has many cartoon-like action productions such as 「Fireflame Kick」 and"One Punch Fist',"Unfair Play', and"Dangsan Large Dragon Kick", Hwang Min-hyun neatly overpowered viewers with his neat movements and outstanding physicality.
The acting transformation did not stop at the action. Hwang Min-hyun expressed delicate emotions even in intense action and saved Yoon Ga-min's three-dimensional effect. Ahead of the match against Cha Woo-min, he increased his immersion by expressing his emotions mixed with anger and determination, not just a fight. In addition, he expressed warm comfort to Ju Yeon-woo, who left his grandfather, and captured the change of emotion in detail.
Hwang Min-hyun, who has shown soft images in youth and historical dramas from JTBC 'live-on', tvN 'welcome' and 'welcome: Light and Shadow', and 'Lies for No Use', took another leap as an actor by challenging the academy's action with 'Study Group'. Expectations are high for Hwang Min-hyun, who broke the Life Character with this work, to show various performances in the future.
