Jeong Geon-ju met with Sports Chosun at the Human Entertainment headquarters in Mapo-gu, Seoul on the morning of the 11th and responded to the end of the interview 'Check-in Hanyang'.

Check-in Hanyang (scripted by Park Hyun-jin and directed by Myung Hyun-woo) is a youth historical drama about the growth of left-handed stones and romance experienced by young people who gathered to achieve their goals against the backdrop of Joseon's largest female pavilion 'Yongcheonru'.

Jeong Geon-ju played the role of Chun Jun-hwa, the son of Taesangju in Yongcheonru. He played a role in changing the atmosphere of the drama by impressively portraying the cool side of the character, who became black because of his love in the second half. In the final episode, he corrected all the past mistakes, gave food to viewers, played various emotions such as sadness and fear as well as laughter, showing the change and growth of the character.

Jeong Geon-ju said, "Kim Ji-eun's acting as a man was perfect", and praised the casting of Kim Ji-eun, who played Hong Deok-soo (Hong Jae-on) in the play, for being perfect. "It was Hong Deok-soo himself from the time of the test shooting. It's not an empty word. It looked so good on you," he said, adding that Kim Ji-eun made it easier for him to adapt to the field.

He also mentioned his chemistry with Bae In-hyuk. "I was able to act comfortably without worrying even though there were many scenes of confrontation because I knew them originally."He said "Actor Bae In-hyuk has a lot of jokes, but he has a lot of things to learn in the field because he has a side like an older brother." Regarding Park Jae-chan, he recalled that he was always energized in the field, saying, `Like a puppy, he has a lot of energy and a lot of cuteness.'

'Honah the Four of us' are still in touch after the end of the show. Jeong Geon-ju is in contact periodically because there is a group chat room. Especially on the day of the broadcast, we talk about the set and reminisce about the memories. Recently, there was a story that we should all watch it together to celebrate the end of the show," he said.

Regarding the record of high ratings at the end of the show, "It would be a lie to say that everyone didn't care", he said "I was proud that the last broadcast recorded its highest ratings, and we also congratulated each other "Great job". Regarding the news that 'Check-in Hanyang' recorded the highest ratings among Channel A's Saturday dramas, "We captured and shared the article, but we were careful not to get too excited."

He also confessed honestly about the atmosphere of the filming site. Jeong Geon-ju said, "The four of us became friends really quickly regardless of the age difference"Kim Ji-eun and actor Park Jae-chan had the biggest age difference, but I was able to get to know them more quickly because my sister, who wrote, was considerate of me to make them comfortable."." Even after the filming was over, they socialized by drinking coffee or drinking a drink at a cafe. "There were a lot of scenes where they played pranks naturally on the scene, and these images seem to have been captured in the making film."," he said with a smile.

If you look at the making video, there are many scenes of Jeong Geon-ju playing pranks, and when asked about it, he said, `I naturally resembled Chun Jun-hwa,' and `I think I played a lot of pranks and stayed bright on the set, maybe because he is a pure and bright character.'
