Dahyun played Oh Sun-ah, a model student who was perfect in everything from innocent appearance to top grades in the melodrama movie `The Girl We Loved At That Time' (directed by Cho Young-myung, produced by Jayuro Pictures). On the afternoon of the 27th, he met with Sports Chosun in Samcheong-dong, Jongno-gu, Seoul, and explained the process of appearing in 'The Girl We Loved at That Time'.
DAHYUN "It's only been a week since the movie's release, and I didn't realize it at first, but I think I'm feeling it little by little as I greet the stage." Thankfully, people around me congratulated me a lot and contacted me a lot. In fact, this movie is like a long dream come true for me. I went to the movie theater with my parents when I was in elementary school. At that time, my mom said, 'Will Dahyun ever see you on the big screen?There was a time when I said ' as if I were spilling the words, but this time when I was shooting a movie, I thought of the words like that. I recently told my mom about it, and she also said 'Now I can see it on the screen. I'm the same, but it's become a gift to my parents."
He has dreamed of learning since he was a child. But I don't know how to start this. It was true that it was not easy to do a group activity called TWICE, and individual activities have been released recently. In the meantime, I have been showing my motivation to act to the company. Just in time, the piece I was offered was 'The Girl We Loved Back Then' and that's how I started acting.'"I had long dreams of acting, but TWICE is also so precious and important to me. Until now, I was very happy and had a lot of fun doing group activities. Other members have also started their individual activities, and I think it's more meaningful just to start like this, rather than taking a long time. I was very happy at the moment," he confessed.
His first screen performance was also extraordinary. DAHYUN "The excitement, fear, and courage from the beginning were needed. You need a variety of talents, but I think you've taken a step forward through this work. I still have to learn a lot, but I liked director Cho Young-myung while acting and all the actors I worked with were of the same age, so the atmosphere was actually very good. Apart from filming, we became very close to each other. I felt the desire of all the staff to be good to me. I felt like I tried to make my first memories good, so I was able to film it happily and thankfully," he added.
A remake of a Taiwanese novel and film of the same name 'The Girl We Loved At That Time' is about the story of an immature boy who spent countless days confessing to the girl. Jinyoung and Dahyun appeared and it was Cho Young-myung's first feature directorial debut.
