Choo Young-woo recently met with Sports Chosun at a cafe in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, saying, `My younger brother must have been very nervous, but he prepared well"I hope we can meet in different roles in the next work."
JTBC's Saturday-Sunday drama 'Ok's Wife Exhibition' (scripted by Park Ji-sook, director Jinhyuk Choi Bo-yoon) is a film about a fierce survival scam between Ok Tae-young (Im Ji-yeon), an outsider whose name, status, and husband risked their lives to protect her, and Chun Seung-hwi (Choo Young-woo), an artist who risked his life to protect her. The final episode, which aired on the same day, surpassed 14.0% in the Seoul metropolitan area and 13.6% nationwide (counted by Nielsen Korea), breaking its own highest ratings. In the play, Chu Young-woo took on the role of Cheon Sang-gye's electric water Chun Seung-hwi and Yang Yang-ban's eldest son, Sung Yoon-kyum.

When asked about the reaction of his family members who saw the work, he said "Everyone loved it and had fun "My parents said they would call my friends around me a lot. I was most proud of those parts. When I went home after the drama was aired, my mom and dad said, 'Huh? He joked around saying, 'It's a celebrity' (laughs). Sometimes you hide my articles even though you read them on your phone. Then I say 'Don't look at the article' because I'm embarrassed for no reason."
In particular, actor Cha Jung-woo, Choo Young-woo's younger brother, played an active role as his stand-in. Chu Young-woo "was more nervous than his younger brother. More people welcomed and adored me on the spot than I was worried. Jungwoo worked hard and did a good job. It must have been nerve-wracking and difficult because I had to memorize all the lines of Seung-hwi and Yoon-gyeom, but thank you for pulling it off well. I think it will be a special experience if we meet in different roles next time," he said.
As for the reason why the younger brother uses a pseudonym rather than his real name "My younger brother's real name is originally 'Choo Soo-woo', but I think I'm Chu Young-woo." The facial features are similar, but the name is the same except for the middle letter, so I had no choice but to change my last name. The Chu family name is so unique that people in their 50s often see me passing by and say, 'Do you know the long-haired Chu model?' asked. Then I thought 'Oh, you're talking about your father.' I think that's why JUNGWOO changed his last name", he explained.
