Actor Kim Kwang-kyu expressed his willingness to enter Hollywood.

At the JTBC's new entertainment program 'Before It's Too Late -'Shalashala' (hereinafter 'Shalashala') production presentation held at Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the 3rd, Kim Kwang-kyu expressed his ambition for a new challenge through studying English.

On the day of his appearance, Kim Kwang-kyu said, `I didn't know that English was only used in the United States,' adding, `I wanted to confront it directly through this program and overcome the trauma of English.' He went on to say, `I have an ominous feeling that I'm going to go one day.' `I think I'll be in Hollywood in 10 years," he added, turning the scene into a sea of laughter.




Kim Kwang-kyu, who said he had been having "English phobia", said "I was afraid of English because of the way I taught at the time when I was a student. "But I wanted to overcome it even a little through this opportunity." In response, Sung Dong-il "Gwang-gyu's efforts to communicate in English were really impressive."It will be revealed in the program as well," he said.

'Shalashala' is a reality entertainment program about the challenges of five middle-aged actors, including Sung Dong-il, Kim Kwang-gyu, Um Ki-jun, Jang Hyuk, and Shin Seung-hwan, to study English. Producer Jeong Seung-il, who directed the program, explained that "The process of learning and communicating itself, not being good at English, will be an interesting point to watch."

『Shalashala』, which contains Kim Kwang-kyu's ambition to enter Hollywood, will premiere on the 9th.
