SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 「Treasure Island」, which first aired on the 21st, features a life-full betting revenge battle in which Seo Dong-ju (Park Hyung-sik) who hacked 2 trillion won in political slush funds fights against absolute evil. As of the second episode, he ranked No. 1 in the Saturday mini-series with a national viewership of 8.1 percent and a maximum instantaneous viewership of 9.9 percent.
Among them, Lee Hae-young is adding heavy weight to the play by playing the role of 'Huildo', who burns his ambition to take over the Daesan group. Heo Il-do, the eldest son of Daesan Group Chairman and president of Daesan Energy, is a person who constantly sees opportunities, wary of Yeom Jang-sun (played by Heo Jun-ho) and Seo Dong-ju, who are trying to take control of the group.
Lee Hae-young, who showed off her overwhelming presence from her first appearance, overpowered her opponent with a firm look and a seasoned attitude at the National Assembly hearing. The cool-headed inside hidden behind a relaxed smile instantly imprinted Heo Il-do's character. Since then, he has tried to strengthen his position in the group's succession structure, but he has been depicted in anger and despondency as his promotion to vice chairman was canceled due to unexpected variables.
In particular, in the second inning, he showed his vigilance toward Seo Dong-ju and had a subtle psychological fight. Heo Il-do's close observation of the relationship between Chairman Cha Kang-cheon (starring Woo Hyun) and Yeom Jang-seon made him even more curious about his complex inner thoughts. However, at a critical moment, he lost his position as vice chairman and maximized the tension of the play by showing a mixture of despondency and anger.
Lee Hae-young expressed in detail the emotional lines that burst out every moment while controlling her emotions. The scene of an awkward smile while swallowing anger, and the moment of watching Cha Kang-cheon and Seo Dong-ju with tears, conveyed Heo Il-do's frustration and deeper ambition, giving an overwhelming sense of immersion.
Lee Hae-young, who catches the eye with every scene that appears, makes the play even more interesting. Expectations are growing on how the harsh war of ambition he will unfold in the future in the `Treasure Island.'
Meanwhile, SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Treasure Island' airs every Friday at 10 p.m. and Saturday at 9:50 p.m.
