KBS2 'The Seasons - Lee Young-ji's Rainbow' ended with low ratings.

On the afternoon of the 21st, the last episode of KBS2 'The Seasons-Lee Young-ji's Rainbow' (hereinafter 'The Seasons') was broadcast. The show featured the band YB, Baek Yerin, The Voluntiers, PH-1YB, and producer Na Young-seok as guests.

On this day, Lee Young-ji served as the youngest and longest-serving MC of "The Seasons" for five months. Thank you so much. I met 85 teams in five months," he said, expressing his extraordinary emotion. At that time, the production team played a video letter sent by colleagues to mark Lee Young-ji's final hosting. In the released video, former MCs of the group IVE, The Seasons, Park Jae-beom, Jannabi, comedian Lee Eun-ji, and producer Na Young-seok appeared and left a message of support.

In particular, as soon as the video letter was over, producer Na appeared on stage with a bouquet of flowers, surprising Lee Young-ji. Lee Young-ji has had a special relationship by appearing in the tvN entertainment series 'Earth Entertainment Room' directed by producer Na. Producer Na, who visited her hometown KBS for the first time in a long time, came out to congratulate her because she is the last MC because she is a daughter born through entertainment. Thanks to this, I came to KBS for the first time in 13 years." Then, as the audience's song requests poured in, producer Na showed off her sloppy dance skills with Tours' 'First Meeting Didn't Go As Planned', drawing laughter.

Lee Young-ji said, "I couldn't cry after watching the video letter, but I almost cried after watching the dance"Wept. However, he led the atmosphere on the spot as an MC by saying, "(I would not have cried if PD Na) had danced well, but he was so bad."

Lee Young-ji was praised for her sensuous hosting skills from the first broadcast of 'The Seasons' in September last year. Since then, he won the Excellence Award at the '2024 KBS Entertainment Awards' held in December last year, proving his endless potential for development as an MC. However, as ratings are known as indicators of TV programs' box office success, there were also regrets about this. Following the previous MCs, he could hardly escape the 0-1% rating, and the last episode also left with a 1.1% rating (based on Nielsen Korea).

Actor Park Bo-gum was selected as Lee Young-ji's replacement MC. As the host, who is not a singer but an actor, joined the show for the first time in the history of The Seasons, viewers' curiosity is growing. Attention is focusing on whether Park Bo-gum, who has become the new face of The Seasons, will be able to receive his first terrestrial MC pass point.
