Producer Shalashala, seasoned Sung Dong-il, curious Kim Kwang-kyu... Come up with a group of close members

Producer Jung Seung-il and producer Jung Yoon-ah, and actors Sung Dong-il, Kim Kwang-kyu and Shin Seung-hwan attended the production presentation held at Stanford Hotel in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on the afternoon of the 3rd to talk about the program.
'Shalashala' is a reality entertainment show about actors Sung Dong-il, Kim Kwang-gyu, Um Ki-jun, Jang Hyuk, and Shin Seung-hwan, who are 52.8 years old on average, leaving for the UK to try their first language training. Middle-aged actors will study English and campus life.
Producer Jeong Seung-il, who directed the cast, explained about the process of recruiting the cast, "'We formed a combination of members who are close to each other to ease the burden of English.'" The first actor to be casted was Sung Dong-il. Producer Jung said "Sung Dong-il has a strong seasoned image, and I was curious about what he would look like when he encountered difficulties in English." he said.
Kim Kwang-kyu is curious about his various club activities, but he was cast in that he wondered how his English studies would react. Um Ki-jun is a person who makes us expect the difference between the elite image and the real person, Jang Hyuk is an actor who has been studying English steadily, and Shin Seung-hwan is the youngest actor who will make use of chemistry with close cast members.
The production team was confident that the process of actors experiencing actual language training would be real, not just a trip. They were confident that "'Efforts to improve your English skills by taking classes and living with local students and unexpected situations will provide great fun.'
JTBC's new entertainment show 『Shalashala" will premiere at 10:20 p.m. on the 5th.
