Actor Joo Jong-hyuk is receiving favorable reviews from viewers with his in-depth performance through the Disney+ original series 'Trigger'. Playing the role of Kang Ki-ho, a supporting actor in the investigative reporting program Trigger, he enhanced the immersion of the play by depicting realistic concerns and inner conflicts in three dimensions. In particular, he talked about his relationship with Kim Hye-soo and Jung Sung-il, and he talked about his experience on the set and his efforts to build a character.

Kang Ki-ho, played by Joo Jong-hyuk, is a supporting member of the investigative reporting team. He is full of passion, but he is struggling against a realistic wall. Joo Jong-hyuk said he wanted to emphasize the three-dimensional aspect of the character Kang Ki-ho. He wanted to show that the symbol was not just a vitality, but a person with a lot of worries and depth inside. Although he harbors the sorrow of non-regular workers, he thought he was a responsible person who was faithful to his job, excluding all that when he worked."

Joo Jong-hyuk said he studied by looking for an investigative reporting program in person to enhance the reality of the character. He said "I wanted to understand how difficult it is for the producers of the investigative news station to cover the incident and what role the production team plays. Even through documentaries, many actual investigative reporters and producers make programs with faith, but they work under tremendous pressure under physical violence or intimidation. I find it's not just the people who turn the camera, it's the people who follow the truth."

He also shared his feelings about filming with actors Kim Hye-soo and Jung Sung-il, who are playing a major role in Trigger. Joo Jong-hyuk said, "Just the existence of the two seniors had a lot to learn"Hye-soo is very serious and professional about acting. However, he has a lot of laughter on the spot and a wide view of the site. There is actually a big age difference with Jung Sung-il, but like the setting he was born in 1990, he was really comfortable like a brother who was a year older and treated me like a friend. Since I'm the youngest, I played a lot of jokes on the spot, but he accepted all of those things."

In particular, in the recently aired episode, Kim Hye-soo "Where's Kang Ki-ho?"There is a scene that shouts ", and he was surprised by saying that he was instinctively emotional when filming. I went to the set after promising to act coolly, but from the rehearsal, I was overwhelmed by Kim Hye-soo's eyes, my hands and feet were shaking and my heart was pounding. Joo Jong-hyuk said "The real line flew as it was and felt stuck in my heart. "I've been crying since the rehearsal, and the senior also got emotional, so the director was embarrassed before the shooting."

He continued "Usually, if you take several takes, your emotions are exhausted, but at the time, it felt like you were taking each take for the first time. It was my first time experiencing this, so it was really precious. After the shooting, I went home and slept with my legs stretched out. I was happy to think that 'I'm happy to be praised today'

While the `Trigger' was on air, the family's response was different. In particular, Joo Jong-hyuk's father was surprised to see a scene in the drama and said he was too immersed. He laughed by saying, `First of all, my parents were so surprised to see Kim Hye-soo and I on the same screen.' `My father especially liked it,' he said. `When my father saw the scene where I was notified of the breakup by his lover 'Hamonica' (Kim So-ra), the writer of the novel `Trigger`, he said, `I can't watch it because I'm so sad.'

He made a strong impression on the public with 'Wonderful Lawyer Woo Young-woo's 'Kwon Mo-su Kwon Min-woo' expanded his acting spectrum through 'Trigger'. Joo Jong-hyuk seems to have learned a lot of the depth of emotion and acting that I didn't know while playing the symbol. The more I acted, the more difficult I felt again that it was a work that required depth. I want to grow while experiencing various characters in the future," he said of the wind.

Meanwhile, the final episode of 'Trigger' will air on the 19th and will be available on Disney+.
