Check-in Hanyang (scripted by Park Hyun-jin and directed by Myung Hyun-woo) is a youth historical drama about the growth of left-handed stones and romance experienced by young people who gathered to achieve their goals against the backdrop of Joseon's largest female pavilion 'Yongcheonru'. In the play, Park Jae-chan played Ko Soo-ra, an ambitious man who finds 'Yongcheonru' for the ball.
On the 6th, Park Jae-chan met with Sports Chosun somewhere in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and responded to an interview commemorating the end of 'Check-in Hanyang'.
On his first historical drama challenge, he said, `The genre of historical drama is also a genre and I studied a lot by looking at previous works"Especially, I was worried about the way I spoke, but fortunately, I was able to put down the burden thanks to the director's advice that "You don't have to care about the old way of speaking because you're not a person in the palace.", he explained.
In particular, the costumes and hairstyles were significantly different from modern products, so I was worried. "It was unfamiliar at first, but the styling team made me look good, so I got rid of my worries."There were a lot of outdoor shoots, but we went to beautiful attractions and filmed it as if we were on a picnic," he added.

In particular, he also expressed his desire for season 2 at the end of the show. "The very fact that the four members of Hona leave Yongcheonru to make a new female pavilion in the South Sea has left open the possibility that it could lead to Season 2" and expressed expectation that "I want to draw a story of growing into a footnote and running a female pavilion as good as Yongcheonru"
He said, `It would be more interesting if the battle between Heaven and the female court made by the four members of Haona took place"I also jokingly talked about season 2 with the director and the writer, and I really hope it will be made."
Park Jae-chan, who appeared in three consecutive works last year and was active in acting, said he also felt his growth as an actor through this work. "I think I was lucky to do three works in a row."In particular, "Check-in Hanyang" was my first drama with actors of my age, so I was able to act more comfortably."
He said, `I've never learned acting professionally, but I feel that I'm improving as I work with my seniors and take lessons"He expressed confidence, saying, "I think I can grow further in the future because this work was especially fun and comfortable.'

Regarding the difference between singer and actor activities, he said, `When you go on stage as a singer, you have to pour out all your energy in a short time, and acting has to build up emotions"Each one has a different charm, but I don't want to miss either one."
About the goal you want to achieve as a member of DKZ "I hope the day will come when we are in the top 10 on the music charts."As fans say "Hidden Name" is a great song, I want to come back and receive more love."," he said of the wind.
