CJ ENM's 30th anniversary selection of the buzzernery 'JSA' held a GV (Conversation with Audience) at CGV Yongsan I'Park Park Chan-wook Hall in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul on the 4th. Actors Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Young-ae, Kim Tae-woo and director Park Chan-wook, and Ko Kyung-beom, director of CJ ENM's film business, attended the scene.
CJ ENM, a global IP powerhouse, announced its 30th anniversary selection of Visionary, expressing its willingness to open a new chapter of K-culture in the past 30 years as well as in the future. Since 2020, irreplaceable people who present a new vision based on their own originality in all fields of Korean pop culture, such as broadcasting, movies, music, and entertainment, have been selected as visionaries.
In particular, this year, in commemoration of the 30th anniversary, we prepared a time to illuminate the buzzernery's selected works, and 'JSA' was named in the film category. Director Park Chan-wook's film 'JSA' (2000) unraveled the reality of division with a human perspective. In addition, actors representing Korea, including Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Young-ae and Kim Tae-woo, received enthusiastic reviews from the audience as their performances were added. Song Kang-ho played Oh Kyung-pil, a North Korean sergeant, and Lee Byung-hun played Lee Soo-hyuk, a South Korean sergeant, in the play. Lee Young-ae played Major Sophie E. Jang of the Swiss Army, and Kim Tae-woo played Lee Soo-hyuk's replacement private male ceremony.

Director Park Chan-wook, Song Kang-ho, Lee Byung-hun, Lee Young-ae, and Kim Tae-woo had time to reflect on the meaning of the work through the GV held on this day.
