‘Secret: Untold Melody’ Surpasses Break-Even Point with 800,000 Viewers

According to the integrated computer network of movie theater tickets, the movie 'Untold Secrets' recorded a cumulative audience of 808,813 until the 25th, surpassing the break-even point of 800,000. 'Untold Secrets' started as the number one real-time rating from the release date, beating out prominent Lunar New Year competitors such as 'Hitman2' and 'Black Nuns' to rank No. 1 in overall movie reservation on the fourth day of release and No. 1 in seat sales on the first weekend of release.
In the second week of its release, it firmly maintained its No. 1 overall reservation rate despite new releases such as 'Broken', and in the second weekend of its release, it rose to No. 2 in the overall box office and succeeded in a magical reverse. In the third week of its release, it not only rose to No. 1 in the box office of Korean movies but also proved to be a long-term box office powerhouse, achieving the No. 1 seat sales rate in Korean movies.
"The Untold Secret", which continues its overwhelming long-term box office race by achieving new records every week, is still showing a strong background of the box office along with a hot word of mouth in the fifth week of its release, drawing attention to the future results.
A remake of a Taiwanese film of the same name, 'Untold Secrets' is a work of miraculous magical moments between two men and women who run into each other in a campus practice room where the secrets of time are hidden. Do Kyung-soo, Won Jin-ah, and Shin Ye-eun appeared, and director Seo Yoo-min of 「Memories of Tomorrow」 took the megaphone.
