'When the Stars Gossip' Ends with Lee Min-ho & Gong Hyo-jin’s Space Baby

Ask the stars' Lee Min-ho and Gong Hyo-jin have a daughter in space.

In the final episode of tvN's Saturday-Sunday drama 「Ask the Stars」 (written by Seo Sook-hyang, directed by Park Shin-woo), the story of dinosaurs (Lee Min-ho) and Eve Kim (Kong Hyo-jin), who became parents in space for the first time in mankind, was depicted, giving a deep impression.

Upon learning that Eve Kim was pregnant, the dinosaur desperately requested the ground control center and succeeded in moving up to the space station. As it is the first pregnancy and childbirth in a weightless space in human history, the ground control center and space station members have been fully prepared for the health of Eve Kim and her fetus. The father-to-be dinosaur also did his best to give birth to Eve Kim safely with the crew.

Thanks to the efforts of the dinosaurs and the crew, Eve Kim gave birth to a healthy daughter and moved everyone. The future of mankind has also reached a turning point, with the creation of a fertility treatment center in space while a baby born in space is growing up full of love from all members. As Yves Kim's father told his daughter a long time ago, the dinosaur also emphasized the importance of life to his daughter, saying, `Everything that is alive is a miracle.'

A dinosaur that left a meaningful footprint in human history, the story of Eve Kim and her husband Ask the Stars, drew attention as the first space office in Korea. In order to save the environment inside the space station in microgravity and the movement of astronauts, special equipment was introduced for the first time instead of wires to save the reality. Different filming techniques and productions were introduced, such as synthesizing the image and lower body of the person with a digital character source and creating free movement of the person in weightless state, raising interest.

In addition, the spacewalk scene, which takes place in a vast space, caught the eye with an unfamiliar attraction that has never been seen before. In order to preserve the beauty of the Earth from the space station's cupola dome (observation deck), it has doubled the fun of seeing fresh landscapes, such as expressing the Earth's day-night boundary line and showing an aurora.

In the set full of CG effects and special equipment, the actors added a sense of immersion to the play with realistic acting. Lee Min-ho (played by dinosaur) showed the characteristics of a tourist dinosaur that first came to the space station by expressing awkward gestures because he was not familiar with weightlessness. Gong Hyo-jin, who plays Commander Eve Kim (played by Gong Hyo-jin), gave a variety of emotions by portraying the process of gradually changing when Eve Kim, a perfectionist who does not tolerate mistakes, meets her loved one.

In addition, actors such as Oh Jung-se (played by Kang Kang-soo), Han Ji-eun (played by Choi Sang-eun), Kim Joo-heon (Park Dong-ah), Lee El (played by Kang Tae-hee), Lee Cho-hee (Minari, Donna Lee), Heo Nam-joon (Lee Seung-joon), Lee Hyun-kyun (played by Han Si-won), and Park Ye-young (played by Ma Eun-soo) filled the space office by closely unraveling the relationship between the characters in the play that crosses the Earth and the space station.
