Witch Lim Jae-hyuk, I hope we can do better than Kangfull Webtoon Drama, Moving, and Lighting Shop

At the production presentation for Channel A's new Saturday drama `Witch' held at the Grand Ballroom of The St. in D-Cube City, Seoul on the 11th, Lim Jae-hyuk said, `I hope it will be better than \'Moving' and 'Light Shop'.'
Based on Kang Pul's popular webtoon, "Witch" is a mystery romance in which Dong-jin (Park Jin-young), a man who wants to break the law of bad luck surrounding a woman called a witch, and Mi-jeong (Roh Jeong-ui), a woman who became the seed of tragedy and cut herself off from the world, become each other's salvation after a journey that does not give up.
Director Kim Tae-kyun, who showed dense directing power through the movie 「Dark Murder」, will direct and add sensuous interpretation. Director Kim Tae-kyun wrote, "The webtoon of the same name by Kang Pul, which boasts accumulated 103 million views. It is a beautiful mystery that follows Dong-jin, who wants to save such a undecided person who is branded as a witch because people around him who like him are hurt.
The reason why I chose Kang Pul's original work "I'm a big fan of Kang Pul. You are breathing with a lot of contact with the public. The worldview he portrays is very similar to the results I pursue. 'Witch' was interested in the work. It goes beyond just the love of two men and women and deals with social problems. It's a masterpiece of storytelling. Although it is a universal theme, it was unique to tell love stories with materials I had not encountered. It attracted me to be the creator. I can draw rich social implications. I was able to produce it with a grateful heart."
Regarding the social implications, "10 years ago, the problem dealt with there is social prejudice and hatred such as witch hunt. It came in three dimensions. It was not just a romance of youth, but a motif that became the starting point of the story. It seems that the social attitude toward someone who is different from me is ongoing today even 10 years ago. I think it will continue the same way in the future. I have never shared this story with Kang Pul, but I understood him through many analysis and analysis of the background of the work," he added.
The difference from the original was "First of all, it was based on respect for the original. It's a work from 10 years ago, but I still don't think I should miss the milky context. However, while analyzing the webtoon format, I tried to do a plus alpha rather than changing it because I wanted the space between the captor and the captor to be filled in the drama."
