In the episode of KBS1 'National Singing Contest' aired on the 16th, Song Dae-kwan took the stage as the first singer in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do.
The broadcast was on Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do, and was recorded at Dangjin Indoor Gymnasium in Chungcheongnam-do on October 22 last year. Introducing Song Dae-gwan, Nam Hee-seok said "Song Dae-gwan, the cultural heritage of our music industry, will perform for the first time." On the opening stage, Song Dae-gwan wore a jacket with a colorful pattern and sang his new song 'Wallet Brother'.
Prior to Song Dae-gwan's stage, the crew said 'The broadcast was recorded on October 22, 2024. He expressed his condolences to the deceased with the caption, 'I pray for the rest of the deceased.'
Meanwhile, Daegwan Song visited the emergency room of Seoul National University Hospital on the 6th due to poor condition, but died of a heart attack on the morning of the 7th while receiving treatment. He was 78.
Song Dae-gwan made his debut in 1967 with 'A compassionate old man' Since then, he has left behind several hit songs, including 'Sunset Day', 'Popular', and 'Four Beat'. In particular, he was loved by the public as he was also called 'Trot Four Grand Heaven King' along with Tae Jin-ah, Seol Un-do, and Ko Hyun-chul.
