Actor Kang Chan-hee finished the original TVing series 'Chunhwa Love Story' and expressed her deep thoughts on her work and acting. Playing the role of the elite Lee Jang-won, he confessed that he learned a lot from this role by experiencing a new challenge of 'Elite Youth'.

On the 4th, Kang Chan-hee met with Sports Chosun at the FNC Entertainment headquarters in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, and responded to the end of the interview 'Chunhwa Love Story'.

Kang Chan-hee, a member of the group SF9 and actor, played the role of Lee Jang-won, an elite and even outstanding family member who captured all the female hearts of Eastern countries in 『Chunhwa Love Story』. Despite the fervent courtship of provincial women, she did not intend to marry, but she was entangled in Princess Hwari's sudden declaration of Jikganjaek.

Kang Chan-hee said "Chunhwa Love Story" With the end just around the corner, there are many things left to be desired. I made a lot of good memories with the actors and directors and it was a fun time, so I feel real and sad that it ended. But the feeling that I was happy and had fun is even greater."

It also told stories about the filming site. "The director was a humorous person, so the atmosphere was really good. I made a group chat room with actors and communicated often, and people who were on time gathered and went out to play. It was a good scene, so it was very memorable."

Kang Chan-hee, who has played various characters so far, took on a new challenge while preparing for the character Lee Jang-won. "This was the first role to show a strong image of a young man. Jang Won-i is an outstanding person enough to pass the examination of Jang Won in the department, but he wanted to show his mature appearance. I'm not good at it, but I tried to capture it," he said.

Asked if the image of an elite young man was burdensome, he said "When I first talked about the manor character, I thought there would be a side that could be elite and honest. But the director wanted a bright, sweet, warm young man. So I focused on emphasizing that aspect rather than burden.'

Regarding the fact that historical dramas have continued from 'Shroop' to 'Chunhwa Love Story', he continues to do the genre of historical dramas, but in fact, he thinks he has done it properly only a few times. I'm still at a loss. I need to grow further and keep practicing. In this work, the background of the times was not Joseon, but a virtual Eastern country, so I was able to be a little more free acting."

He also mentioned the charm of historical dramas. "There is a unique atmosphere. When I film on a set like a hanok, my heart trembles and I'm excited. Those things are attractive because it's an environment that you can't normally encounter."

Kang Chan-hee frankly confessed that as she debuted as a child actor, she still has a 'child image'. "I don't think I've completely deviated from my child image. However, I am trying to change little by little by challenging various genres and characters" he said.

In particular, he also expressed his willingness to challenge for the role of villain. "I've been doing a lot of unfair or framed characters. Now, I want to challenge myself in a different role. I want to play a villain character," he said.

He also expressed his affection for the actors he collaborated with in "Chunhwa Love Story". "Go-A-ra is a person with a lot of energy. You were so cute when I saw you secretly eating chocolate bars. Jang Ryul always took care of me warmly and learned a lot on the spot. In particular, I had a lot of worries the day before filming, so I talked about God while talking to my brother directly on the phone. Thanks to you, I could understand the character more deeply" he said.

Kang Chan-hee, who also works in music as a member of SF9, said she has a great desire to do both acting and music well at the same time. "I've been feeling that it's not easy to do both realistically for a few years. But I think there are many opportunities to challenge myself. Although it may be slow, I want to try both music and acting hard" he said.

Musically, there are songs that comfort and sympathize with the public among the ballad songs of "SF9". I want to make more songs with that kind of emotion. I want to deliver that kind of emotion on the concert stage someday," he added.

Kang Chan-hee also mentioned her role model. "Actually, I really like Lee Dong-hwi." Among the seniors who work together, I respect Lim Si-wan. It's so cool, and I really want to emulate it."

Finally, expectations were raised for the end of 'Chunhwa Love Story'. "It's a great ending if you look at the character of Jangwon alone. It was touching to see him act for someone he liked without giving up until the end. As we move toward the second half, there are events that are swirling. I want you to watch what kind of emotions and decisions Jang Won will make," he said.
