According to the latest chart released by Billboard on the 16th (local time), the title song of Newzins' Japanese debut single 'Supernatural' was ranked 22nd in 'Global (excluding the United States)' and 37th in 'Global 200' for the third consecutive week. The `Global (excluding the U.S.)' ranking rose one notch from the previous week.
Songs from the double single 'How Sweet' are also cruising on the global charts for seven consecutive weeks. The title song of the same name 'How Sweet' was ranked 34th and 61st in 'Global (excluding the United States)' and 'Global 200', respectively. The songs 'Bubble Gum' ranked 78th and 188th, respectively.
Major domestic music charts have already been dominated by songs by Newzins. While 'How Sweet' is at No. 3 on the Melon Daily Chart (July 16), 'Supernatural' is at No. 5 and 'Bubble Gum' is at No. 6.
In particular, 'Supernatural's reverse driving momentum is unusual. On the day of its release (June 21), the song entered Melon Top 100 at No. 34 and rose to No. 4 thanks to Tokyo Dome fan meetings (June 26-27) and domestic music broadcasting activities (July 12-14).
Not only new songs, but also the popularity of previous works remains. Newzins' existing songs, which were loved around the world, such as their August 2022 debut songs 'Hype Boy' and 'Attention' are still on the charts. As a result, Newzins displayed the power to put as many as 10 songs on the Melon daily chart.
Their powerful share of music was also proven on the circle chart. According to the survey on the share of the circle index by the top 400 digital charts in June, Newzins ranked first with a 9.2 percent share. There are a total of 16 songs in the chart's rankings, including the 2nd place in "How Sweet" and the 3rd place in "Bubble Gum".
Newzins also showed a strong performance in the music category. Looking at the share of album sales by top 400 singers in June, Newzins ranked second overall and first among girl groups. They have sold more than 1.08 million albums in the past month.
