According to SM Entertainment, RIIZE's debut Japanese single, "Lucky," will be available on various global music platforms at midnight on July 29.
The single, featuring the new genre "Emotional Pop" with a theme centered on "Love," includes three tracks: the title song "Lucky," "Be My Next," and "Same Key."
"Lucky" is an upbeat punk pop song characterized by its rhythmic drumming and catchy chorus. Its playful lyrics, which humorously suggest taking bold action to win love rather than waiting for it to come by chance, add an extra layer of charm.
The promotional image for the single, released on RIIZE’s official social media on July 22, along with a teaser video for "Lucky" posted on the YouTube SMTOWN channel at midnight on July 28, have already created a buzz. The music video for "Lucky" will also premiere in conjunction with the song's release, building anticipation even further.
In addition to "Lucky," the single features "Be My Next," a hip-hop track with vibrant electric guitar, synthesizer, and energetic 808 drum sounds. The lyrics capture the excitement of new love with candid expression. The single also includes "Same Key," which was well-received as part of RIIZE’s first Japanese drama OST.
RIIZE's first Japanese single, "Lucky," will be officially released in Japan on September 5, marking their official debut in the country.
