TWICE's 'What is Love?' Music Video Hits 800 Million Views on YouTube

TWICE's music video for "What is Love?" has surpassed 800 million views on YouTube, marking the first time the group has achieved this milestone. The video, which features the title track from their fifth mini album of the same name, reached the impressive figure around 4:30 a.m. on July 27.

Released on April 9, 2018, "What is Love?" is a vibrant and upbeat song penned and composed by JYP Entertainment CEO Park Jin-young. The track explores the theme of love through the lens of a young girl influenced by books, movies, and dramas. The accompanying music video, where the members of TWICE portray characters from iconic films while showcasing their signature charm, has resonated strongly with fans both in South Korea and internationally.

In addition to this milestone, TWICE boasts a total of 18 active songs with notable hits such as "TT," "LIKEY," "FANCY," "CHEER UP," "I CAN'T STOP ME," "Feel Special," and "Like OOH-AHH," along with four Japanese releases and two English singles, "The Feel," "MOONLIGHT SUNRISE."

On another exciting note, TWICE made history by performing at Kanagawa Nissan Stadium in Japan on July 27 and 28. This achievement marks the first time a K-pop girl group and an overseas female artist have headlined this venue, concluding their fifth world tour, "TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR 'READY TO BE'." The tour, which began in Seoul in April 2023, included stops across Japan, North America, Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America, with several shows in major stadiums like Los Angeles' SoFi Stadium and New York's MetLife Stadium. This global tour further solidifies TWICE's status as a leading force in the international music scene.
