George releases new EP 'gimbap' in mid-August. 'gimbqp' is a remake album of songs that regress the 1990s and 2000s with George's own delicate sensibility and delicate voice.
Including the pre-released song 'It's My Blame' on the 29th of last month, a total of six songs are included, including 'romione Juliet (Romeo and Juliet)', 'Confession', 'I've never seen myself before', 'My reflection in my heart' and 'rain.
'It's My Blame' is a song from the duo project group Urbano released in 2002 by singer-songwriter and producer Jeon Young-jin and jazz saxophonist Jay Kim, whose funky, groovy soul sound was reinterpreted with George's witty and sophisticated sensibility.
Clazyquai's 2007 song "romone juliet", Lee Soo-hoon's 2004 movie 'Confession', Bong Tae-gyu's 2004 sitcom 'Nonstop4' OST, Yoo Jae-ha's 1987 song 'My reflection in my heart', and Lee Jeok's 1999 song 'rain have also been newly remade.
George is expected to create a truly intersection between generations and penetrate the entire generation with a moist sensibility. It provides memories to the generation who are familiar with the songs and freshness to the generation who hear them for the first time. In particular, it is expected to touch the listener's nostalgic language and awaken the touching feelings of closing their eyes in the deep.
In addition, producer Park Moon-chi participated in the album as an album producer and worked hard from selection to arrangement, further enhancing the completeness of the album.
